About the Role



Based at our Murarrie, QLD location, we are seeking a customer-focused Spare Parts Officer to join our Service & Spare Parts Business Unit. Reporting directly to the Spare Parts Manager/Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in processing customer orders, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate, timely delivery of parts.



Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and interpret customer inquiries and orders via phone, email, and electronic channels. Ensure product specifications are accurate prior to fulfillment.
  
• Accurately enter sales orders into SAP (part numbers, account details, quantities, delivery addresses). Prepare documentation for warehouse picking, packing, and dispatch.
  
• Provide excellent counter service for direct customer purchases and process EFTPOS transactions.
  
• Handle customer return requests, issue Return Authority paperwork, and process returns and credits in SAP within business guidelines.
  
• Assist warehouse personnel with checking picks prior to final dispatch and participate in half-yearly stocktakes.
  
• Maintain clean workspaces and assist with general filing and site upkeep.
  

About You



To be successful in this role, you will bring a strong customer-first attitude, exceptional attention to detail, and solid organizational skills.



Qualifications & Competencies:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or parts counter role.
  
• Basic product knowledge and parts interpretation skills. Experience with SAP (or basic SAP exposure) is a distinct advantage. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and handling EFTPOS transactions.
  
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
  
• Dedicated to identifying customer needs, providing quick responses, and building long-term partnerships.
  
• Strong ability to prioritize tasks, follow established procedures, and check work for complete accuracy.
